Every July 8-9 Mongolians celebrate Deeltei Mongol Naadam, which is a national holiday. It celebrates the Mongolian culture and heritage. During this time, people dress in their traditional clothing and participate in various traditional sports and activities.
This is a great opportunity to see Mongolian traditional dress in action. If you are ever in Mongolia during the summer, I highly recommend attending Deeltei Mongol Naadam. You will not be disappointed!
HATS
In Mongolia, hats are an important part of traditional dress. Mongolian hats come in many different styles, depending on their region of origin and the occasion for which they are worn. Men and women both can wear traditional Mongolian Hat.
For important occasions, Mongolians may wear ornate hats adorned with feathers, beads, and other adornments. In recent years, Mongolian hats have become popular among visitors to the country as well. Many tourists purchase the Deel or other hats as souvenirs of their time in Mongolia.
Although hats are no longer mandatory attire in Mongolia, they are still commonly worn on special occasions or when traditional dress is required. For me, hats will always be a reminder of my Mongolian heritage.
BELTS
Mongolians have a long and proud history of traditional belt-making. For centuries, Mongolian Beltmakers have been using only the finest materials to create intricate belts that are both beautiful and functional.
Mongolian belts are typically made from leather or fabric, and they often feature elaborate beading and stitching. Today, Mongolian traditional belts are still widely worn by Mongolians of all ages.
They are commonly seen at weddings, funerals, and other important ceremonies. Mongolian belts are also frequently given as gifts to loved ones. I am proud to wear a Mongolian traditional belt. Every time I put it on, I feel connected to the rich history of my people.
Mongolian Boots
The Mongolian boots are not only beautiful but also very comfortable. I have been wearing Mongolian traditional boots since I was a child. In the winter, they keep my feet warm, and keep cool in the summer.
Mongolian traditional boots were designed to protect the feet from cold and wet weather conditions. Additionally, if you love riding a horse you must consider Mongolian traditional boots.
Mongolian traditional boots are not only worn by Mongolians but also by people from other countries. I have seen many people from different countries who love Mongolian traditional boots.
