DAY 1 — Arrival in Ulaanbaatar City

Upon arrival, settle into your accommodation. Delve into the heart of the city with a guided sightseeing tour, exploring key landmarks and cultural highlights. Cap off the day with an exquisite dinner at one of Ulaanbaatar’s finest restaurants, ensuring a perfect blend of comfort, exploration, and culinary delights.

DAY 2 — Kharkhorin

The Ancient Capital of the Great Mongol Empire

Spend the morning in Ulaanbaatar recovering from long-travel fatigue. After lunch, visit the Chinggis Khan Museum, followed by a traditional folklore concert and dinner.

Historical Exploration: Visit Erdene Zuu Monastery, built from the ruins of the 13th-century Great Mongolian Empire. It stands as the country’s oldest Buddhist monastery. Wander through its ancient temples, stupas, and surrounding walls, marveling at the intricate craftsmanship and spiritual significance of this historic site.

Experience riding a two-humped Bactrian camel in Elsen Tasarhai, also known as the “Mini Gobi.”

DAY 3 — Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake

Today, we will hike around the breathtaking Chuluut River Canyon and eat our packed lunch by the worshipped tree of the locals. In the late afternoon, we will reach the eye-catching Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake (White Lake). There, we will stay at a tourist camp near the lakeshore.

The Chuluut River Canyon, carved over millions of years by its river, showcases stunning rock formations, towering cliffs, and crystal-clear waters. Hiking through the canyon provides an up-close look at its unique geological features.

DAY 4 — Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake

Volcano Trekking

In the morning, we’ll begin our trek along the White Lake, continuing to hike to the Khorgo Extinct Volcano, which was active 8000 years ago. We’ll enjoy a packaged picnic lunch once we reach the top of the volcano.

DAY 5 — Tsenkher Hot Spring

Drive to Tsetserleg, the capital town of Arkhangai Province, nestled amidst stony hills. Explore the local market for a shopping experience that captures the essence of the town. Then, journey to the picturesque Tsenkher Hot Spring, offering a serene escape surrounded by natural beauty.

Outdoor Hot Spring: Enjoy a rejuvenating experience as you watch the stars at night in a natural hot bath — all while surrounded by the cool weather of the Mongolian summer, with temperatures ranging from 10 to 15 degrees Celsius.

DAY 6 — Tsenkher Hot Spring

Nomad Day

Savor a full day at this location, indulging in various activities. Embrace the spirit of adventure with horse riding and hiking during the day, immersing yourself in the scenic surroundings.

DAY 7 — Ugii Lake

After breakfast, we proceed to the beautiful Ugii Lake. Enjoy a serene boat ride on the tranquil waters and try your hand at fishing, surrounded by the beauty of the lake. Take some leisurely hours to unwind before dinner, and consider participating in an optional horse-riding tour at sunset to further enhance your experience of this scenic locale.

Ugii LAke

DAY 8 — Hustai National Park

Today we head to Hustai Nuruu National Park, home to the rare Przewalski’s horses and other unique wildlife. Experience an evening walking tour, observing these majestic horses as they come down from the mountains to drink from the river.

WILDLIFE EXPLORATION: Przewalski’s horses, also known as Mongolian wild horses, are the only truly wild horse species still in existence. They are native to the steppes of Central Asia and were once extinct in the wild. Conservation efforts have successfully reintroduced small populations, but they remain endangered.

DAY 9 — Back in Ulaanbaatar City

Today, we return to the capital city. Before departing, we will attend the Mongol Nomadic Show. The show demonstrates how Mongolian nomads live with their livestock and how they traditionally move from one place to another using ox, yak, camel, and horse carts.

Upon our return to the city, you can enjoy shopping at a cashmere outlet or the State Department Store for souvenirs.

Mongol Nomadic Show: Enjoy traditional music and performances, ride yaks and chariots, learn to assemble a ger, and make dairy products.

Cancelling the tour within more than 2 months, 50% of your deposit payment will be reinbussed.

Cancelling the tour less than one month, the deposit payment will not be reinbussed.

Hotels: Accommodation in Ulaanbaatar and Murun.

Local ger camp: Experience the traditional Mongolian ger lifestyle.
